The User Access tab allows you to view and manage users' access to Karmly. This includes Admins, Resources, Consultants, and Contacts.
User access for individuals can also be managed directly from each user's profile under Manage > People, but the User Access tab offers you a way to control the access for all users on a single page, making it easier and faster to manage the users in your Karmly account.
Inviting Admins
A Karmly Admin has full access to all areas of Karmly, except for managing the account subscription. There is no limit to the number of Admin users created and invited to use the system.
In order to invite a new Admin simply click on the green Invite User button and choose New Admin.
In the pop-up window that appears, enter the Admin's Name and Email Address.
Click Invite to send the invitation.
Inviting Users
Once you've set up a new person in Karmly, you can invite them by clicking the Invite User button and navigating into their respective role (Resource, Consultant and Contact).
You'll be able to choose from a list of any users who match the selected role, and who haven't yet been invited to Karmly. This offers both a quick way to check which users don't yet have access to the system and an easy way to invite them.
When you click on a specific person you will be asked to confirm their email address before sending them an invite. If you wish to invite them with an email address other than the contact email you've specified on their record, you can specify the invitation email here.
Managing User Access
Once you've invited users to join your Karmly account, you'll be able to manage their access from the User Access tab. You'll be able to see information about the status of the invitation, or the last time they logged in, to the right of each user.
Any user access which is related to a corresponding person (Resource, Contact or Consultant) will have their name displayed in blue, and you can click their name if you wish to navigate through to their record.
You can also manage each User's access by clicking the '...' icon to the far right. The options available will differ depending on whether their access is currently active or pending.
For active users, you will be able to send a password reset email, or remove their access.
For pending users who either haven't accepted their invite yet, or their invite has expired, you will have options to resend or cancel the invite.
