This article explains the different tabs available to Consultants when they log into Karmly, depending on the options selected on their profile by an Administrator. See more on Adding a Consultant here, or jump to a section below:
Inviting a Consultant
As an administrator, you can invite a Consultant to Karmly via their record under Manage > People, or via Manage > User Access. For details on how to invite users, or how they can accept an invite or login see these articles:
The tabs they will see depend on the options ticked on their profile.
If Manage Time is ticked this will allow the consultant to view the Time screen, where they can edit and add time for their contractors. This option can also be switched to View All Resources if the consultant should see (but not add/edit) timesheets for all Resources in your account.
If the Approver box is ticked this will mean they will receive the emailed time approval requests for their contractors. If they also have Manage Time access, they'll also be able to approve requests directly from the Time screen.
If you have a Consultant with Approver & Manage Time access, you may wish to tick Mute Approval Emails if they will be managing approvals within Karmly and don't wish to receive email notifications for each request.
Placements
Once a consultant has logged into their Karmly account they will have access to view and manage their Active, Finished and Permanent Placements that they are attributed to.
Edit Placement
A consultant has the ability to edit their Placements including the rates, Placement dates or adding/removing People from the team. It's important to note that if you're integrated with an ATS (JobAdder or Bullhorn) it's generally best to make changes there rather than directly in Karmly.
Time
If the Consultant has Manage Time ticked on their profile they're able to see the Time tab where they'll be able to view and manage time for their Resources. The Week Summary shows an overview of each Resource's time and the approval status. Consultants can request approval on behalf of their candidates, and if they have the Approver role checked they can also approve time for their candidates.
Find full details of how the Week Summary screen works here: Week Summary
Consultants with their Manage Time setting set to View All Resources will instead see the timesheets for all Resources in Karmly, but not have the option to add or edit time. They will be able to request approval for candidates.
Timesheets
With Manage Time access set to Edit Team Resources, the Consultant also has access to the Timesheets tab, where they can bulk enter time. Find more info on Timesheets here: Timesheets
Approval Requests
If the Consultant has both Manage Time and Approver access, they will also have access to the Approval Requests area under the Time tab, where they will have the ability to view, approve, resend and remove approval requests for their Resources.
Messages
With the Manage Time role a consultant also has the ability to send bulk messages eg. Sending a message to multiple Resources to remind them to enter their time sheets.
Commission
If the Consultant is assigned to commission plans the Commission tab will display a history of the commission payments by calendar month and also their performance.
Payments
The Payments tab will show commission payments that have been processed and Sent by an administrator.
