The Client Summary screen shows you the amount of time that is unapproved and billable for each client, and allows you to easily run invoice batches for your current billing period, overdue periods, or a set period of your choosing.
At the top of the screen you can view the total Overdue, Current Billable, Total Billable, and Draft amounts outstanding.
Overdue is the total billable amount (permanent fees or Approved time) that hasn't yet been billed and which falls before the Current Billable period. I.e. in the screenshot above the Overdue amount is for all unbilled approved time and permanent fees falling on 05 Aug or earlier.
Current Billable is the total billable amount that falls in the Current Billing period. The Current Billable period is based off the end date of the latest invoices you've processed, and the Default Billing Cycle you've set under Manage > Settings. For example, in the screenshot above the Current Billable period is 06 Aug - 12 Aug because the latest invoices in the company run to 05 Aug, and the Default Billing Cycle is weekly.
Total Billable is the total Overdue + Current Billable that could be billed to clients right now.
Draft is the total value of Draft invoices that haven't yet been sent. Amounts in Draft invoices will still be showing in the other figures on the Client Summary screen, until those invoices are moved to the Sent folder.
For each client you can then see the Last Billing Date (the Invoice Date of the last invoices processed for the client), amount of Approved Time, Invoiced Time, Placement Fees (amounts related to any permanent placements for the client), and then the Net Billable (the value of Approved Time that hasn't yet been invoiced, plus Placement Fees).
You can also click into a particular client for more detail on the resources who make up the time.
Here we can see that one resource has 40 hours for the week (and all 40 are approved), while another resource has entered 5 hours but the time isn't yet approved, so isn't yet billable. We also have a candidate with a billable permanent placement fee.
You're still able to run an invoice for this client for the approved time and placement fee, or you could go and chase the unapproved resource from the Time > Week Summary if they haven't yet requested approval, or if they have requested approval you could chase the approver from the Time > Approval Requests screen.
Click 'View Time' if you'd like to review the relevant timesheet entries for any of the Resources.
You can use the Select Period dropdown to select a specific period, or to view all Overdue billable amounts.
If you then tick All Clients and click New Invoice Batch you can quickly and easily run an invoice batch for the specified period.
