When you add consultants to the Placement Team you can set up different Sales Groups for their commission to be attributed to. This is useful for cases where consultants receive different commission rates based on whether the revenue is generated from placements where they recruited the candidate or the client.
The Sales Groups available are:
All - This means there is no specific group or differential for commission plans.
Account Manager - This could relate to the Client relationship holder or another person involved in making the placement.
Recruiter - This would usually relate to the Recruiter or Consultant who placed the candidate.
Selecting a Sales Group for a Consultant
To select a Sales group for a Consultant, you can either edit each individual Placement via Placements > Manage Placements:

Setting Up Commission Plans
When you set up your commission plans (learn more here: Setting up Commission Plans) you're able to select which Sales Group each plan applies to:
Setting the Sales Group to All means consultants on that commission plan will earn commission on all of their placements, regardless of the Sales Group selected on each placement.
Setting the Sales Group to either Account Manager or Recruiter means consultants on the commission plan will only earn commission for placements where their Sales Group has been set to either the selected Sales Group or to All.
