What’s new:
- Pay: Major updates to the way pays are run using Invoxy. The changes give you more information before you create a pay and mean that the approach to creating pays, invoices and commission payments is consistent. The changes also separate the process of paying payroll resources and self-employed contractors. The Payroll tab is now the Pay tab and there are three new subsections:
- Pay Summary: Pay details for all PAYG/PAYE resources can be reviewed from the Pay Summary Screen before you create a draft pay.
- Invoice Summary: Accounts Payable Invoices for all self employed contractors (resources set up as a Business) can be reviewed and created from the Invoice Summary Screen.
- Payments: A payment will either be a Pay or an Invoice depending on whether it was created from the Pay Summary screen or the Invoice Summary screen. They will both appear under the Payments tab.

- Purchase order (PO) numbers: We’ve added a new field to placements so you can record a PO number as well as a reference.
- JobAdder integration: The PO number on JobAdder placements is now being mapped to the new PO number field on an Invoxy placement

- Filter to Active People: Under Manage > People you can now click the options button in the top right and select 'Only Active Placements' to show only those users who are associated with active placements.
Improvements:
- Xero Payroll (Australia) integration: We’ve made several key changes to the Xero Payroll integration to give you more control and flexibility when adding new employees and running pays.
- New Resources: When new resources (excluding self-employed contractors) are added to Invoxy you’ll need to add them to a Pay Calendar before they sync to Xero Payroll. You can do this from the new Pay Summary screen in Invoxy.
- Paying overdue amounts: We’ve introduced more flexibility around Pay Calendars so even though a Resource is allocated to a particular Pay Calendar you can select time entries that are overdue or custom period for a pay.
- Inviting Users: When connected to Xero Payroll you’re no longer required to enter an Address and Date of Birth before inviting a Resource to use Invoxy. This means you can now get them to add these details themselves under My Details or via Onboarding if desired.
- Tax File Number: We’re now stripping spaces and hyphens from tax file numbers when sending employees to Xero Payroll to avoid errors coming back from Xero.
- Syncing: Invoxy will no longer sync with Xero Payroll every time you run a pay. New resources are created in Xero when you add them to a Pay Calendar in Invoxy. To update details for existing resources, navigate to Manage > Integrations and click the Sync button beside Xero Payroll.

Fixes:
- Onboarding: Fixed an issue that caused a non-required onboarding step with multiple questions to only save if all the questions were answered.
- JobAdder Sync: Our JobAdder sync now looks for changes since we started our last sync rather than when we finished our last sync.
- Invoice Mark as Sent: An issue that caused some invoices to send when they were marked as sent has been fixed.
- Overtime & Allowances: Overtime and allowances were only being calculated from timesheets entered in the graphical view. This has been fixed to ensure overtime and allowances are also applied to time entered as total hours.
